With Georgia Family’s newly redesigned website, there will be many changes—all for the good—for our readers. And it has come at a time of transition for me as well. We have a lot in common, this website and I. You see, my family has recently moved, downsizing to a small apartment so that my husband can attend graduate school. We gave up our animals and donated a large amount of stuff. Throughout the entire process, I’ve been wondering why on earth we’ve kept so much of it. Why on earth did we feel like we needed it? Ten years of clutter, items we didn’t deal with because we had the space to simply place it aside. And now, we’ve had to sort through and decide what to keep, what to store, what to throw away, and what to donate.
The former Georgia Family site perhaps had some similar characteristics. Putting together the new site has led us to an opportunity, enabled us to bring even better articles, events, and information to you, our readers. There will be fresh, informative content designed to keep our readers on top of their game. From parenting to health to home décor, from events around the state to traveling in and out of it, we hope that GeorgiaFamily.com will continue to be your go-to site.
So, here’s to new beginnings all around. May they bear fruit and brighten the future.
